What is Internal Medicine?

Internists are primary care physicians - the doctors you should see first if you have an illness, minor injury, or need routine care. They provide comprehensive care for anyone over the age of 18 and have extensive training to treat serious conditions such as lung diseases, heart disease, diabetes, thyroid diseases, gastrointestinal disorders, and hypertension (high blood pressure).

» Flu shots are available starting next Tuesday, September 4th. Patients should call the office to schedule a lab appointment. The cost for a flu shot is $23, but most insurance companies will cover this charge.
